    Could you setup a clear new server with only bukkit-connect in it and see if the error persists, could possible be something wrong with the players...

    By the look of it this has nothing to do with deadfrog, the plugin clearlag was casuing this. It looks like it couldn't connect to dev.bukkit.org....
